Harangody helps Irish upend No. 9 Hoyas

Notre Dame's Luke Harangody drives against Georgetown. Harangody scored 31 points in the Irish's win on Monday.Luke Harangody had 31 points and 11 rebounds and No. 13 Notre Dame shot 45 percent against No. 9 Georgetown in a 73-67 victory Monday night that ended a five-game losing streak to the Hoyas.

Dodgers ready to part ways with Andruw Jones

Andruw Jones and the Los Angeles Dodgers are close to parting ways.  The team has agreed to trade or release Jones in exchange for the center fielder deferring much of the $22 million remaining on his contract, according to a person with knowledge of the discussions. The person spoke Monday on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk publicly about the deal.

Cubs reportedly to sign Bradley for $30 million

Adding Milton Bradley was one of the top priorities this offseason for the Cubs, who got swept out of the playoffs for the second-straight year.The Chicago Cubs and free agent Milton Bradley reached a preliminary agreement Monday on a $30 million, three-year contract, according to a person familiar with the negotiations.
